Steve Small – Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Steve Small is the CEO of Yield Technologies, an innovative firm that is globally recognized as a leader in the real estate technology industry and well known for its products such as RentSentinel.
As CEO, Steve is responsible for technology infrastructure, financial reporting systems, technical support operations and numerous developments that provide actionable solutions for business optimization.
Steve is known for his ground breaking expertise in the multi-family industry. In 2008 and 2009 Steve was named to a select group of elite industry leaders as one of Realcomm’s “Top 35 People to Watch in 2008”.
When Steve isn’t in the office he enjoys relaxing activities such as skydiving, boating, skiing, snowmobiling, wakeboarding, target shooting, running long distances and side construction projects.
Eric Broughton – President & Chief Operating Officer
As President and Chief Operating Officer Eric Broughton leads the RentSentinel team with a history in strategic planning, technology consulting, project management, and new business development. His entrepreneurial spirit shows in the creation of RentSentinel and future platforms.
He also serves as President of the Chicago Oracle Users Group and has been a key contributor to the success of several global technology firms.
Eric received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and earned an MBA/TM from the University of Phoenix. He completed Executive Coursework at Stanford University and achieved the PMP designation from the Project Management Institute. He was recently recognized by his alma mater as an Outstanding Recent Graduate.
Eric excels in multitasking. He likely learned this trait in high school (62 classmates). He was Captain of the football, wrestling and track teams; President of the student council, band, 4-H and choir and an honor roll student – this made for a busy letter jacket!
Andy Hamilton – Vice President of Products & Chief Technology Officer
Andy Hamilton is the Vice President of Products and Chief Technology Officer at RentSentinel. Andy is responsible for leading RentSentinel’s product development teams and managing relationships with RentSentinel clients.
Formally trained as both an analyst and a developer by Electronic Data Systems, he brings advanced skills and product knowledge to RentSentinel. Applying his diverse experience in both Oracle consulting and executive leadership roles, Andy successfully manages large teams and projects.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
When Andy isn’t thinking about RentSentinel products he’s daydreaming of what life would be like if he had a better, restored back and a long term contract with the NHL!
Brian Burke – Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer Brian Burke oversees accounting and financial operations; this includes strategic planning, daily accounting activities, and development of financial projections for RentSentinel.
Burke is a seasoned financial expert with extensive experience managing companies in various stages of their lifecycle from inception to IPO and back. He has twelve years of experience in financial planning and analysis with a focus on business transactions, establishment of budgetary and financial controls, and integrating acquisitions.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fairfield University and a MBA in International Marketing and Finance from DePaul University.
Brian enjoys sneaking away from the windy city to take beach vacations that include umbrella drinks and good margaritas.
Kevin Koperski – Vice President of Product Innovation and Design
As Vice President of Product Innovation and Design, Kevin sets the creative vision for the RentSentinel product suite. He is responsible for product design at all levels, from functionality to user experience to branding. He manages the User Interface and Design teams, and works closely with the development and marketing teams to improve usability and brand consistency.
Kevin brings fifteen years of design and development experience to the RentSentinel platform. As an AT&T Circle of Excellence Award winner for the design and development of various HRIT applications, his roles and responsibilities at RentSentinel continue to grow. Koperski also has experience as a novelist, screenwriter, filmmaker, and video producer.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of Illinois.
When Kevin isn’t writing novels, he likes to paint his face blue and orange to cheer for his alma mater and the Chicago Bears.
